The Finale
Wow. Ok, this is a little disjointed, my apologies.
Based purely on the collections, my vote would be for Rami because I would wear his clothes. I can appreciate Christian’s work and knew the moment I saw it that Victoria Beckham would love it (it’s hats and crazy clothes - it’s her closet!). Jillian’s clothes were certainly “cute” but other than a few pieces, I was not interested in her collection. Which I think sums her up for me - she has interesting pieces, but nothing grabs me. However, I did love the dress she was wearing. Heaven.
Rami’s clothes are classy and classic, but with interesting twists (such as the weaving). I’ve made no bones about my sense of style, so I’m sure it’s no surprise to anyone that his draping and clean work is appealing to me.
I do love Christian’s collection. It’s interesting, it’s amazingly creative. I just wouldn’t wear it.
So, regarding the Judge’s decision:
I am not surprised that Christian won. He was my modified choice. And Victoria Beckham said she would wear his clothes - he could write his entire career right there.
It did make me sad to see him lose some of his attitude at the end, but I am not upset at all at his win. It was innovative and interesting, and very well made. I wanted Rami, but yeah.
So I guess this is it for Season 4. It’s been fun and I’ve loved this chance. Maybe next season there will be more drama for us to snark about.
