Week 8 - The one where Ricky cries
Oh, wait, that’s EVERY week.
Oh jesus.
The Challenge
Design an avant garde look around the model’s hairstyle. And oh my god, the hairstyles. These are heinous. In teams of two. Jebus.
Team 1: Kit and Ricky
Team 2: Sweet P and Rami
Team 3: Chris and Christian - This is the power team
Team 4: Victorya and Jillian - This is Team Hateful
$300 budget.
I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those…. OMG TRAIN WRECK episodes. Rami and Victorya are already all Design Nazi about their designs. I want to bitchslap both of them.
Sweet P’s whininess is starting to get to me. And I still hate Ricky’s fucking hats.
Special Announcement: Oooh, a ready-to-wear outfit that matches the avant garde outfit.
Oh, jesus, the entire workroom is irritating the hell out of me all of a sudden. Well, except for Chris, mostly. Could Rami be more high maintenance? Could Sweet P be more passive-aggressive? Jillian is cranky. Victorya is over-dramatic.
Tim looks worried about everyone. And really, he should. They’re not working to the best of their abilities and making them work as a team has been a total clusterfuck.
Runway Show
Rami and Sweet P: Very Rami. Very very Rami. RTW: Yawn.
Chris and Christian: That headpiece is SCARY! RTW: Yawn.
Kit and Ricky: Eek. OMG, Bo Peep on crack. And the strap came down. Bad bad bad. RTW: Not terrible.
Victorya and Jillian: That jacket is FIERCE! The lining is AWESOME. The whole thing looks awesome. RTW: Kind of boring, but cute at the same time.
Judging
Top Two: I think the winner is a tough choice. They were both REALLY nice looks.
Chris and Christian
Victorya and Jillian
Bottom Two: How bad is bad? Which one is worse? They’re both kind of awful.
Kit and Ricky
Rami and Sweet P
I think Ricky’s going home, but I said that last week. It sounds like Nina’s getting tired of Rami’s same old, same old.
WINNER: Christian and Chris. Dammit, now he’s gonna be completely insufferable.
AUF’D: Kit. This makes me sad. She’s got skills, and she knows what she’s doing. They booted her because she’s the team leader, but she’s still got miles to go.
